Who We Are
In 2012, Marc Lewis and Paul Llewellyn left the occupational safety of Latham & Watkins and founded Lewis & Llewellyn. Despite having no clients, they quickly grew the firm into a litigation powerhouse. The firm is now recognized by the Daily Journal and other publications as one of the leading litigation boutiques in the country. The firm delivers the tenacity and seasoned judgment of larger firms while delivering white-glove service to its sophisticated and demanding clients.
Our Culture
Lewis & Llewellyn takes great pride in its culture which has been carefully developed since 2012. The firm has grown incrementally since its inception, hiring only the best talent from Big Law. We have scaled growth despite overwhelming client demand, with new hires given responsibility very early. We prioritize training and standup experience for our new hires. This includes depositions, oral argument, drafting motions, leading case strategy, and taking cases to trial. The firm’s collaborative culture is paramount, and we enjoy our time together as colleagues at firm events.
