Torries Emerson studied at San Jose State University, where he built a strong foundation in accounting, finance, financial reporting, and account reconciliation. Throughout his career, he has improved billing and payment processes while supporting system transitions and data clean-up initiatives to enhance day-to-day operations.

Before joining Lewis & Llewellyn, Torries built extensive accounting and finance experience across both legal and corporate environments, including roles at Biolytic Lab Performance, Inc., Hirschfeld Kraemer LLP, Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP, and Ervin, Cohen & Jessup LLP. Throughout his career, he has developed expertise in accounts payable and receivable, trust account administration, payroll processing, and financial reporting. He has also leveraged cloud-based financial systems to streamline workflows and enhance transparency across accounting processes.

Outside of work, Torries enjoys camping, reading, and spending time with his family. He especially loves watching his two sons play sports! These activities help him stay grounded and energized.
