Sophie Day attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with an emphasis on Criminal Justice and a minor in Law and Society. While at Cal Poly, Sophie interned for the San Luis Obispo District Attorney’s Office as a Victim Advocate on property crime cases. She also spent a summer working with Lewis & Llewellyn as a Summer Fellow.
Before joining Lewis & Llewellyn, Sophie continued to work at the San Luis Obispo District Attorney’s Office as a Subpoena Clerk and Witness Coordinator. During her time at the DA’s Office, she gained experience supporting attorneys during criminal trials and advocating for victims and witnesses of crimes.
In her free time, Sophie enjoys reading mystery novels, doing yoga, and relaxing at the beach.
